Printing for the people

Movement Ink is a family-run shop founded by Rene Quiñonez, who grew up in San Francisco's Mission District and has spent his life doing community work, from mentoring young people to teaching them graphic design and t-shirt printing as a trade. In 2020 our family, crew and community printed nearly 10,000 protest masks. Today the shop carries forward the art and activism of Rene's son, Luis Alberto "Sito" Quiñonez. We outfit community. It is not a slogan, it is a record.
